Self-reclusion amongst young people is a new trend in Europe but a known condition in Japan where the term Hikikomori (staying aside) is long known. This incapacity to relate with the world outside is rising concerns not only in Italy, where the estimated number of Hikikomori is between 100.000 and 200.000 young people, but in the whole of western societies. AOF explore this hidden world by observing and letting young people speak for themselves.
